“Remember to look up at the stars and not down at your feet. Try to make sense of what you see and wonder about what makes the universe exist. Be curious” – Stephen Hawkin
I am a Mum who is exploring the world of ideas with no expertise but plenty of curiosity. I want to find the truth, make up my own mind and not fall into the trap of group think! I am not a writer, I don’t have a degree and am certainly not academic but I do have a thirst for knowledge and a whole lot of common sense.
I hope to raise my three boys to have respect, kindness and love for everyone in this world, learn to have empathy and concern for others less fortunate and encourage them to not have fear in questioning or challenging anything the world throws at them.
On this journey, my opinions and findings may be controversial and occasionally they may offend but that may be necessary if we want to unravel the new age rhetoric. So let’s open our minds and explore together, learn from each other and find a balanced view of the wonderful world we live in.
Diversity of thought is a wonderful thing, if we didn’t have it, the world would be a boring place. This may be Mum’s that matter, but by no means do I not want hear the opinions of others. If you are an aunt, cousin, sister or friend join in, men you too, however, we may talk about the occasional penis… so just be warned!
Let’s do this, maybe with the occasional wine!
